Hello fellow animal lovers,

My name is Rikki Olson and I am the founder of Paws & Claws Animal Shelter!! The number one reason I opened this animal shelter was because I ended up finding a litter of kittens outside my garbage can taped up inside a box. I took in the 6 kittens and did everything I possibly could to help these defenceless kittens survive. Out of the 6 kittens unfortunately only 1 survived and I kept him and his name is Slayer.

I opened this animal shelter in 2010 so I can help any other animals that needed a safe place to survive. We are a non-profit organization that survives with the many volunteers we have that come in and play with the cats, walk the dogs, and help with house cleaning.

Without all our volunteers and all the people that have donated to the shelter I would not be able to keep this animal shelter running.
